Welcome to the Afton-Lakeland community!

I am extremely honored and excited to join the Afton-Lakeland community. As a long-time resident of Stillwater and parent of a Stillwater Pony I am personally invested in Stillwater Area Public Schools. 

I have had the pleasure of spending the last 17 years working in public education. Most recently for the last two years I was the Assistant principal of Stillwater Middle School and then had the pleasure to serve as the Interim principal at Brookview Elementary in 2021. Prior to joining the Stillwater district I have served as a Dean of Students, Instructional coach and enjoyed teaching science for 11 years at the middle school level. In every position my focus was, and still is, on helping students identify their strengths and find joy in learning.

As I begin my new adventure at Afton-Lakeland I look forward to getting to know all of you personally and working as partners to continue to provide joyful experiences in learning for the community. If you ask anyone that knows me in this district they will tell you that relationships are the utmost importance to me and I look forward to building those with you all soon!
