Welcome to Afton-Lakeland Elementary! I am excited to partner with you and support your family. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or suggestions about how we can best support your child. We believe strong partnerships between home and school help every student thrive.

Afton-Lakeland Elementary is nestled in a beautiful setting, surrounded by open fields on three sides and framed by towering pine trees. We are a PreK–5 school serving approximately 350 students, allowing us to foster a close-knit, caring community where every child is known and valued.

Our campus offers multiple playgrounds, soccer and football fields, a hockey rink, and tennis courts, providing students with plenty of opportunities to learn, play, and grow both inside and outside the classroom.

Our dedicated staff bring a wealth of teaching experience and are known for the warmth, kindness, and genuine care they show every student. Building strong relationships with children and the families who support them is at the heart of everything we do.

Students in kindergarten through fifth grade participate in engaging Science, Music, and Physical Education classes. We are also proud to offer our CIP (Communication Integration Program), which provides specialized support for students whose communication needs may make school more challenging. While many students in the program have autism spectrum disorders, the program serves students with a variety of communication needs.
